Diana Balmori is an internationally renowned urban and landscape designer.  She and Yale colleague, Gaboury Benoit, developed the LAND code as a working paper for the students in the School of Forestry and Environmental Studies at Yale University.  Later published by Yale University Press, The LAND Code is an invaluable tool for design professionals and students alike.
